The 2006 Convention Committee cordially invites you for A Capital Adventure in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Staged in nearby Rockville, MD, this will be a joint meeting of both the American Rhododendron Society and the Azalea Society of America. We ask you to join us as we reflect on our past achievements and look forward to exciting new directions and opportunities for the future.
Our convention will be staged at the elegant DoubleTree-Rockville Hotel, a first rate facility with convenient direct access to the Metro Subway and Washington landmarks.
Please note a slight shift in sequence for traditional staging of our convention. To avoid traffic problems, we will open the program on Friday evening, May 12th and close Monday morning, May 15, 2006. By spanning the weekend, we were able to secure significant savings plus avoid weekday rush hour traffic in our Nation’s Capital.
