A Capital Adventure 2006 ARS / ASA Joint Convention
Tours
|
Garden Tours:
The primary garden tours are scheduled for both Saturday, May 13,2006, and Sunday, May 14, 2006.
We will feature a selection of lovely private and public gardens in nearby suburban
Maryland, as well as some regional gardens that are farther away from the convention
hotel. After the Convention, we offer an overnight, Post
Convention Tour to the mountains of Virginia.
Either before or after the Convention, people may wish to tour Washington DC on their own
via the convenient Metro Subway. We have not scheduled any tours into the Nation's Capital
other than a trip to the National Arboretum, but there are many wonderful sights and points
of interest that people will be able to visit from the convenient Metro stop at the hotel.
